All I got was one slice of cheese pizza, but it was one of the best cheese pizza's I've ever had!
3 stars though because they charged me 0.50 cents to use my debit card instead of cash and the guy at the counter who brought my pizza up had a bad attitude. According to other reviews, he is generally ill mannered and unhappy.
Also, I would have bought another slice of pizza if they didn't charge me 0.50 cents to use my card. -

I went here prior to looking up the reviews on Yelp. When I did see Yelp reviews, it matched my exact experience.
Food: I ordered the lunch special of 2 plain slices and a small soda. The pizza was good, I enjoyed it.
Service: the gentleman taking our order looked miserable & uninterested in our business. Not sure what his deal was. Be happy you have customers willing to try your food -

My Place has a specific appeal.
First understand: the world has many types of pizza joints for different occasions.
If you want cheap, unpretentious pizza in the heart of downtown Lancaster, from a man who only says one word to you, then this is the place to be. I consistently love the pizza here and find myself returning for that affordable, quick, shameless slice of pie. I usually can order and eat in under 15 minutes.
The ambiance isn't much. The customers don't wear Gucci. You know it wont impress your mom, but sometimes My Place pizza is exactly what a man needs in his life. Plus they have parmesan shakers.
If that's not the kind of pizza place you want, try House of Pizza on Chestnut for a neighborhood favorite, or Luca for your date night pizza. But whatever you do, don't knock this gem for not being what you want. -

The pizza is awesome, however, if you dont specifically say you want the special 2 slices & a soda, they charge you individually for each & give you attitude when you point it out & make a huge issue about it. The little old guy behind the counter is just plain nasty, I won't be back.

Burger was fair -- nothing better than that, but I've never had a worse order of fries in my life. I mean... you really have to try hard to "eff" up French fries, but the surly line cook managed to do it. Frozen fries, not even cooked beyond lukewarm and sloppily thrown onto a paper plate. No one associated with the place was remotely friendly. Way to make a great first impression, losers! A disgrace to Lancaster City.
